New Graphics APIs discussion panel at the dawn of Vulkan

The Khronos Group (https://www.khronos.org/)has announced that the release of Vulkan is imminent. For us, the graphics community, it's time to study how the graphics landscape is going to evolve after the dawn of Vulkan.
This first Khronos Paris Chapter event will be help us start our reflection:
- First, with an introduction of Vulkan: key concepts, differences with OpenGL, ecosystem, etc.
- Then, we will have a panel discussion with Adrian Bucur (Samsung), Cyril Crassin (http://blog.icare3d.org/)(Nvidia (https://research.nvidia.com/)), Jasper Bekkers (http://jasperbekkers.nl/) (OTOY (https://home.otoy.com/)/ previously Frostbite (http://unity3d.com/)), Joe Davis (Imagination Technologies (https://imgtec.com/powervr/graphics/)), Jon Kennedy (Intel (http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/architecture-and-technology/hd-graphics/hd-graphics-developer.html?wapkw=graphics)), Julien Ignace (Unity (http://unity3d.com/)/ previous Quantic Dream (http://www.quanticdream.com/)) and Sebastien Lagarde (https://seblagarde.wordpress.com/site-map/)(Unity (http://unity3d.com/)/ previously Frostbite (http://unity3d.com/)).
- Finally, we will open the discussion with the audience through a Q&A.
This panel has been designed to confront different point of views of actors of the ecosystem. We believe that understanding each party of the ecosystem is a key factor to ensure Vulkan success.
Also this event focus on Vulkan, it will have to coexist with others graphic APIs such as DirectX, Libgnm or even OpenGL. As a result, we believe that others API names are not curse words. Rather than a communication exercise, we hope this event will be a forum challenging debates.
