Halfway Up Benson.

This is a Saturday Hike. Starting from the parking lot ( Benson Regional Park) we will hike down to the far end of Witchcraft Lake and then proceed along what was the older route up Benson. Once we start climbing this hike is fairly steep for about 30-45 mins. but certainly achievable if you take your time. The next 1/2 hour we will make it to the second lookout which is just below the 1/2 way mark to the summit. We will then retrace most of out steps taking about an hour to return to the parking lot. I would recommend hiking poles if you have knee issues.
