## what the day looks like

We meet at 9 am at the meeting point (exact location shared after booking). From there, we will experience:

• hiking up the peak “La Rhune” at 903m with a gentle pace
• a scenic coffee & cake break on the way
• connection moments throughout the day
• group photos in a beautiful surrounding
• a nourishing lunch together in a charming Basque village

We finish at around 3pm before we part our ways.

## is this hike for me?

La Rhune is a challenging and rewarding hike. If you feel comfortable walking uphill for several hours, you will enjoy this active day out. Route details:

• distance: 12km
• 800m elevation gain
• rocky and possible slippery terrain

This day is for you if you enjoy being active in nature and feel open to meeting new women in a relaxed, supportive setting.

## what to bring?

Dressing in layers will be essential. You want comfortable hiking shoes with good grip, parts of the terrain can be slippery. A light waterproof jacket is recommended and keep in mind that the peak can be windy even on sunny days.
Bring enough water to stay well hydrated throughout the climb and feel free to pack a few personal snacks.

## transport

The meeting location will be shared after booking. I would advise you to come with your own vehicle as public transports are not that reliable in this part of the country.
A WhatsApp group will be created beforehand to organise carpooling if desired.

## participation

Lunch is around 15€.

A lot of request for this walk so we're doing it again :)

Sunset coastal walk near Hondarribia with an optional ocean dip. We finish with an apéro watching the sunset.

We will follow a loop with ocean views, forest, beautiful rock formations. The hike is not difficult but it takes about 3,5h/4h to complete.
Places are limited, only 8 to keep things flowing nicely and create a nice group energy :) everybody welcome and we might speak in english, french or spanish... depending on guests.

Along the way, we can stop at natural rock pools where you’ll have the option to take a refreshing cold dip in the ocean (completely optional).

To finish, we’ll gather for a scenic apéro: a chance to connect, chat and enjoy some drinks and healthy snacks together as the sun goes down.

• Duration: ~3.5 hours/4 hours

• Price: 10€ per person (participation for apéro)

What to bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes
• Water
• A swimsuit & towel (if you want to dip)
• A light layer for after sunset

Last edition was canceled because the weather was looking a little sad, but I'm really looking forward to try again :)
Departure will be from ITXASSOU. If you need transport from Hendaia or other places on the coast, let me know as soon as possible and I will arrange that :)

Saturday afternoon hike to the Mondarrain peak, a classic in the Basque Country!
We will have a picnic along the way and if the weather is nice, we can finish the day with a quick dip in the nearby river.

Places are limited, only 8 to keep things flowing nicely and create a nice group energy. Everybody is welcome and we might speak in english, french or spanish... depending on guests.

Details:

• Distance: 10 km
• Elevation: 750 m
• Duration: 4 hours
• The start is steep but manageable. We can climb slowly and enjoy the views.

what to bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes
• Water & snacks
• A swimsuit & towel (if you want to dip)
• If you have battons, it would be useful on that hike

Fees: 5€/pers (participation for the picnic)
