Coulée Verte & Bois de Vincennes (15 km)
Détails
Hello everyone!
I invite you to an outdoor walk close to Paris, in Bois de Vincennes, where we will explore this beautiful forest just outside the city, a cool opportunity for anyone who wants to discover more of this green area. Our route will include the Coulée Verte (a scenic green walkway built on a former railway line), Lac Daumesnil, Butte aux Canons (one of the highest points in Vincennes), and the Château de Vincennes. Parts of our hike follow the GRP Bois de Vincennes trail.
📍Meeting Point
Sunday, Dec 14, at 11:00 AM
Bastille metro station – Exit 4 (Rue de Lyon), at street level.
To get there, you can take metro line 1 from wherever is most convenient.
🎯Ending Point
We will finish at Nogent-sur-Marne RER A station, on the opposite side of Bois de Vincennes. From there, RER A trains reach Paris in 15–20 minutes.
🥪Lunch
We’ll stop for lunch/snacks in the forest, so please bring your own food and water.
