GR1: Stage 6 — Pontoise to Santeuil-Le Perchay (23 km)
Détails
Hello everyone!
Leaving the Oise valley behind, we will climb steadily onto the Vexin plateau, trading the urban landscape for vast, open fields. The route wanders through the charming rural countryside, passing through patches of quiet forest and picturesque stone villages typical of the region. We will reach a high point of around 175m , offering expansive views before descending to Santeuil.
!!! This is the first stage that we will walk counter-clockwise due to transport considerations.
The GR1 Project is an opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the Île-de-France region, all within easy reach of Paris. Spanning a total of 550 km, this circular trail takes you around the city in a clockwise direction, offering a unique way to discover the peaceful landscapes, charming forests, and picturesque villages surrounding Paris.
