Hey you guys and gals!

Firstly I much appreciate you having joined this meetup group. Thanks for that.
I guess we all are either Vespa owners (you don't necessarily have to be, you may even just enjoy riding on one as a passenger ;-) ) or simply Vespa lovers.
Riding a Vespa is a way of life. Not the most technologically advanced or zippiests bikes but built as a tank and with efficiency and simplicity on mind and what a design!! An iconic classic in the world of Italian design. When you ride one, you are riding a legend.

Because a Vespa is not "just" a "scooter", it's a bike (yes you gotta shift gears ;-D ) in its own right and even then it's not just about that but it truly is about a way of life. Some people even take them for round the world trips. A real lifestyle.
Never go fast, but take the time to treasure life, to enjoy it!

So whether you own one or just love them why not join us for a drink and a chat on the Canal St. Martin this coming 16th September and just get together between similarly minded friendly people.
Never mind whether you know your crankshaft from a dell'Orto carburettor. We can learn that later. It's all about friendliness and attitude and a love of life :-) !!
