St. Lazare to Marché d'Aligre Again

Détails
Marché d'Aligre is one of the best kept secret places in Paris and the favorite market of Paris Walkers United group. It's a sprawling food-centric open air market with unimaginably low prices. Join us as we walk from St. Lazare to Aligre (6 km). Do bring a backpack or large sturdy sack because it's high season for Moroccan melons. There's no better place to buy them than Aligre. You'll also want to buy bread at one of the best boulangeries in Paris. Once a backwater market, is now a quickly gentrifying area with one of the most pleasant squares in the quartier. We'll have a group lunch (TBD) after shopping.
The meeting point is the 6 meter high bronze luggage statue (photo) at the front of St Lazare railway/metro station. See you there.
