If you have been curious about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu but feel a bit intimidated by the idea of walking into a gym for the first time, this event is for you. We are hosting an informal social in Newark designed specifically for people who are brand new to the sport. There will be no pressure to spar or jump right into a workout; instead, this is a chance to meet others who are in the same boat, chat with a few experienced practitioners, and get a feel for the culture of the local community.

We will spend the time answering common questions about how to get started, what to expect in your first class, and how to find a gym that fits your goals. Whether you are looking for a new fitness routine or just want to understand what all the interest in BJJ is about, you are welcome to join us. We hope to make the process of starting your journey a little less daunting. If you think you might be able to make it, please take a moment to RSVP so we can keep an eye on the headcount.

We are hosting a casual social mixer for the Portland Mandarin Masters community, and we would love to see you there. This event is designed as a low-pressure space for anyone who enjoys the language to connect with others in the area. Whether you are a fluent speaker, a long-time learner, or just someone who appreciates the culture, this is a great chance to chat, share experiences, and meet people who share your interests.

The format will be informal, so please do not worry about formal lessons or structured practice. Our goal is simply to bring together a friendly group of people for some good conversation over drinks and snacks. It is a welcoming environment for all levels, and we encourage you to come as you are. If you are planning to join us, please take a moment to RSVP so we can get a general sense of our headcount for the venue.

I am looking forward to getting everyone together for our next Kelowna Pilates Pals and Reformer Flow session. Whether you have been practicing for years or are just starting to get comfortable on the reformer, this is a space to focus on our movement and enjoy some steady, mindful exercise. We will keep things relaxed and supportive, moving through a flow that challenges us while allowing everyone to work at their own pace.

The goal here is really just to connect with others in our community who enjoy Pilates as much as we do. After we finish our flow, we will have a few minutes to catch up and chat. It is a great way to start your day or wind down, depending on our schedule, and it is open to anyone in the area who wants to make Pilates a more social part of their routine.

If you have been thinking about joining us, I would love to see you there. Please take a moment to RSVP so I can make sure we have enough space for everyone to set up comfortably.
