How to Combine WELLNESS and PRODUCTIVITY: PY meets Transformational Coaching

In this workshop, you'll learn several types of pranayama (yogic breathing).
Different forms of pranayama cultivate different aspects of consciousness, so a toolkit of pranayama is a boon for the psychedelic explorer.

***The yoga of breath has been my single most important ally on psychedelic healing journeys.***

I will address two questions, for each pranayama I teach:

*\-\- How can this pranayama support various types of psychedelic work?*
*\-\- How can this pranayama be used\, on its own without a substance\, to cultivate psychedelic states?*

I will give advice for practicing ahead of a session, and some important cautions. We'll have a chance to practice together!

If you have had important experiences with breathwork related to psychedelic experience, please share your stories and insights! The workshop will end with Q&A and a discussion.

**What we'll explore:**

* **Retention and Bandhas**: Working with kumbhaka (breath retention) at the top of the inhalation, incorporating subtle energy locks to enhance awareness and energy flow
* **"Musical" Breathwork**: Rhythmic and melodic pranayama techniques that can support psychedelic journeys and everyday consciousness exploration
* **Integrated Practice**: Creating a complete practice by bookending pranayama with asana and meditation, learning how these elements support and enhance each other

We'll build upon the foundation of basic pranayama while extending into these more advanced techniques, with ample time for personalized guidance and discussion of individual experiences.

This session is suitable for all levels - the practices are accessible with proper guidance while offering depth for experienced practitioners. No psychedelic use is involved; all techniques are substance-free.
