Name: Introduction to the tambourine
Start: 2026-10-31T15:30:00.000Z
Location: 255 Finchley Road London NW3 6LU

Through an organic, structured approach—featuring progressive exercises and theoretical frameworks—we will delve into tambourine techniques and performance styles, applying them to both traditional Central-Southern Italian repertoires and modern music. Broadening our horizons, we will also explore the styles and percussive expressiveness of other traditions, such as those from the Arab-Persian world, Latin America, India, and Northern Europe.

The workshop is open to all levels, welcoming both beginners and those already familiar with the instrument.
