TEAM JAPAN Association is a 501(c)(3) Public Charity dedicated to connecting people through Japanese language, culture, and community. We operate J-KURU, a global Japanese-language meetup held in New York, Paris, Tokyo, and more—where people learn, practice, and build real friendships through culture and conversation.
Our mission is rooted in Wa (harmony): creating welcoming spaces, supporting cross-cultural exchange, and helping people grow together. Beyond language learning, we build community through cultural events, volunteer activities, and global connections.
TEAM JAPAN is more than an organization—it is a movement to share Japan with the world and bring people together through warmth, curiosity, and human connection.
