​As part of Nuits de la Lecture (21–25 January), The Offline Club Paris is inviting you to its first XL Offline Reading Party of 2026: a long, slow, deeply bookish afternoon designed to help you truly immerse yourself in your reading before the evening continues... wherever your reading mood may take you.
​From 15:30 to 18:30, we will gather for three relaxed hours of reading, creativity and connection.
​Not quite a “nuit” – just the perfect way to start one!

​This XL Reading Party is a love letter to everything you’ve been asking for: more time to read, more calm, more space to just be.
​📖 90 minutes of silent reading
Because one hour is never enough. Settle in, disappear into your book, and enjoy long, uninterrupted reading time in a room filled with fellow readers doing the exact same thing.
​🎹 A live piano concert during your reading session — intimate, soothing, and just for this moment, by the amazing Ian Ssali.
​🎨 Creative corners
Between pages, you’re welcome to journal, doodle, write notes, annotate, or explore quiet creative activities, all designed to support focus and self-connection.
​🤝 Warm, unforced social time
After reading, we open the space for conversation. Talk books, exchange recommendations, meet like-minded readers or simply listen. No pressure, no small talk required.

Phones away, notifications off. We let the world scroll without us.

​Reading is a craft based on the Slow Reading approach. At this special XL event, we want to bring out your creative side even more. Let us surprise you, and feel free to bring along your favourite creative supplies.
