Bienvenue à la projection du film-essai EX-VOTO (2026, 80mn) de Hu Jiamin à l’occasion du finissage de son exposition « Ex-voto politiques » au Dissident Club jeudi 9 avril de 19h à 21h ! Le film est une élégie visuelle et sonore qui entrelace les peintures ex-voto de Hu Jiamin et les événements sociaux et personnels (pandémie, manifestations, résistance, exil, son arrestation en Chine en 2017, son voyage en Russie en 2025 etc.) avec lesquels ses peintures sont associées, de manière complexe, nuancée, poétique et humoristique. L’artiste sera présent pour discuter avec vous après la projection.
