Ce réveillon Weezem est fait pour toi. C’est *la* formule familiale, simple, authentique et incroyablement conviviale qu’on ne trouve nulle part ailleurs un 31 décembre.
Ici, pas de soirée impersonnelle ni de tarifs délirants : on crée ensemble un vrai moment “comme à la maison”… mais avec l’énergie d’un groupe qui a envie de passer un superbe nouvel an.

L’idée est simple : on loue un super établissement privatisé, avec un vrai dancefloor, et chacun apporte un petit bout du réveillon.
C’est ce qui fait la magie de cette soirée :
* **tu viens seul(e), mais tu rejoins une grande “famille d’un soir”**,
* tout le monde partage, s’entraide, discute,
* personne n’est mis de côté,
* et on déguste ensemble ce que chacun a apporté (fait maison ou de qualité, comme un vrai réveillon).
Je serai là dès l’accueil pour te mettre à l’aise, te présenter du monde, proposer des petits brise-glace pour que les échanges se fassent naturellement.

Pour garder l’esprit familial, chacun apporte du salé **ou** du sucré, idéalement home-made ou qualitatif, et nous on s'occupe de fournir les bulles à volonté (l'abus d'alcool est dangereux pour la santé, à consommer avec modération).
Une petite cuisine, un four et un micro-ondes seront disponibles pour réchauffer les plats.
⛔️ Ceux qui arrivent les mains vides ne pourront pas entrer (l’agent de sécurité vérifiera). On protège l’esprit du partage.

* **19h30** : accueil et jeux ice breakers & apéro dînatoire tous ensemble 🥂
* **22h/22h30** : on ouvre le dancefloor (ou on discute dans l’espace calme, au choix) 🪩
* **00h** : on se claque la bise et on fête ensemble la nouvelle année 🎉
* **03h** : on rend les lieux propres (rapide quand on s’y met à plusieurs), puis direction un éventuel after pour les motivés.
Un agent de sécurité sera présent toute la soirée.

**EQUIPMENT**
* On the day of the game, you will be informed of your pitch number, so check your message on meetup/WhatsApp
* The pitches are made of artificial grass and closed within a barrier or "cage" to prevent the ball from leaving the playing area and keep the game constantly flowing with rebounding sidewalls.
* Astroturf shoes are recommended but not mandatory
* A changing room is available with lockers but you need to bring your own padlock or you can put your bag in the goals (it is what I do)
* Training shirts/chasubles are available, so it doesn't matter the color you wear
**REFUND POLICY**
* RSVP early not going (48h before) and you will be refunded
* After the 48h from the start of the event, if someone else can replace you, I will refund you, otherwise you will not be refunded
* If a pitch is cancelled, you will be refunded

CMG Gives Back: Food Distribution at CHAMPION FOOD PANTRY!
Start the New Year off right! Join us as we get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event to distribute food at the Champion Food Pantry! We’ve created a great little community of Movie Group friends! Rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “Create a better world” by helping serve people in need. Here are complete details and our plan for this event:
CHAMPION FOOD PANTRY: The Champion Food Pantry provides needed food to neighbors experiencing food insecurity. For this event, we’ll be volunteering to help with Food Distribution during client pick up times. Our group will receive on-the-spot training from some of their seasoned regular volunteers.
PLAN FOR CHAMPION FOOD PANTRY: Please arrive by 2:45pm. Our volunteer time will be from 3:00 to 6:00pm.
LOCATION & PARKING: The Champion Food Pantry is located at 1460 S. Champion Ave in Columbus. Parking is located in the lot on Frebis across from the pantry. Please enter through the door marked "Volunteers enter here” on Frebis Ave. A map has been uploaded to the photos.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Our group will be providing the majority of the volunteers on this day so a firm RSVP count is essential. Please only sign up if you are certain you’ll be able to attend. If something unavoidable comes up, please update your RSVP no later than one week prior to the event. No shows or cancelations within 1 week of the event will mak you ineligible for future CMG Gives Back events. I appreciate your understanding as we try to ensure the agencies have the volunteers needed to provide the essential services they provide to the vulnerable population they serve.

PARTNER AGENCY: This event is hosted by Lutheran Social Services (LSS), which serves thousands of people in need each day in 27 Ohio counties by addressing the four core societal issues of food, shelter, safety and healing. LSS offers food through the LSS Food Pantries, housing and supportive services through LSS Faith Mission and LSS Faith Mission of Fairfield County homeless shelters, domestic violence services through LSS CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence, senior living and health care, affordable housing communities, and other services that uplift families and strengthen communities.

Atheists of Columbus (AoC) is part of Omnipresent Atheists (OA). AoC was founded in 2012 as a networking, social group for Central Ohio area humanists, skeptics, atheists, agnostics, nonbelievers, freethinkers, and the curious. It was a member of Columbus CoR and held weekly meetings, mostly on Fridays, for several years but then operated as an online only group for some time. In November 2018, Omnipresent Atheists (OA), a group that routinely meets on Tuesdays, invited AoC to merge.

COUNT RMH Housewarmer Volunteering (Ronald McDonald House)
Some trained COUNT volunteers work together once a month at RMH (http://www.rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer.php) as Housewarmers (usually on the 1st Sunday from 1 – 5 PM). Some schedule other shifts at their convenience. You may try this out with less fuss by following a "Fast track" or go through the normal process.
Fast track
• Arrange a time to shadow a COUNT volunteer. Call Dave Nohle at 614-268-9558 (cell).
• Show up and try it out.
• Complete application, etc. later.
Normal process
• Complete an online application (http://rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer/).
• Attend orientation in advance.
• At orientation you will complete forms agreeing to keep family/patient info private and allowing a background check and tour the facility.
• Complete one training shift. Daily shifts are: morning 9 AM - 1 PM, afternoon 1 - 5 PM and evening 5 - 9 PM.
• Schedule shifts online using the on the RMH scheduling system (http://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/?FROM=32895).
The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides housing and meals for families with sick children. The Columbus RMH is the largest in the world with 137 rooms. COUNT has been volunteering there since May 2014.
Housewarmers work with RMH guests to provide a home-like environment - greet, assist with family needs, answer phones, give tours, assist with checkin/checkout, prepare guest rooms after checkout, clean facility, laundry, restock supplies and staff the front desk. RMH Housewarmers volunteer at least one four-hour shift a month. All Housewarmers must complete an application and agree to a background check before they can be full fledged volunteers.
