Join us for a beer (or any other drink) and a nice discussion at our next UX/UI book club. This time we are talking about "Invisible Women: Exposing Data Bias in a World Designed for Men" by Caroline Criado Perez.

Your phone is too big for your hand? Your doctor prescribes a drug that is wrong for your body? You are 47% more likely to be seriously injured in a car accident? If any of this sounds familiar, chances are high that you're a woman.
"Invisible Women" shows us how we are systematically ignoring half the population in a world that is largely build by and for men. We are conditioned to view the male gender as default and ignore or erase female experience. The book exposes the gender data gap - a gap in our knowledge that is at the root of perpetual, systemic discrimination against women, and that has created a pervasive but invisible bias with a profound effect on women's lives.
