[Abstract]
In this talk, I (Mickaël Canouil, https://m.canouil.fr) will chronicle my journey towards a more transparent and reproducible work environment. I will talk about the changes and improvements that I have implemented in my team, detailing the transition of infrastructure used when I arrived to an infrastructure using Docker and and the {renv} R package.
[Bio]
I am a biostatistician (Ph.D.) and the head of a small team within a research laboratory, working primarily on the genetics of diabetes and obesity.
I have developed a few R packages, and although some are not very useful, they are most definitely entertaining (i.e., https://github.com/mcanouil/ggpacman/).
I also enjoy watching movies and playing with R (https://m.canouil.fr/imdb_ratings/).
