Start your week with movement meditation, community, and a fresh soundtrack—an upbeat, welcoming Wednesday morning ecstatic dance in Phoenix. Rise is a guided-to-freeform journey: we arrive, ground, and warm up together, then move into an open dance wave—no choreography, no talking on the dance floor, and lots of room to listen to your body. New here? Come as you are; you’ll be welcomed.

Check in, set an intention, and ease into the space. Give yourself a few minutes to arrive fully.

### Warm-up + wave

A short guided warm-up leads into a longer freeform dance wave—follow sensation, breath, and music.

### Integration + close

We slow down, stretch, and close with a moment of stillness so you can carry the glow into your day.

FRIDAY DANCE DOSE
A freeform dance embodiment practice—sometimes called "ecstatic dance"—though all states of being are welcome (not just ecstasy). Come as you are, with your truth. Through the wisdom of our bodies, we process reality for ourselves and the collective.

Each session features an intuitively curated mix of music, selected by our facilitators—something fresh and different every time. We come together, immersing ourselves in the medicine of dance, feeling alive, and allowing movement to unfold naturally. This practice creates a powerful, transformative space with ripples beyond the dance floor.

• Move however your body is called to—there are no steps to follow, no "right" way to dance.
• You may feel stillness at times or wild expression at others.
• Dance solo or with others, stay in one spot, or move freely around the room.
• Whether you resonate with the music or feel resistance, you're invited to move with whatever arises.
• Verbal cues from facilitators are suggestions only—you are your ultimate authority.

GUIDELINES FOR THE SPACE
To honor the container of this practice, please: Newcomers welcome · Ages 18+

• Doors close 20 mins after start
• Enter in silence
• Bring water · Minimal belongings
• Dance floor = talk-free zone
• SOBER PRACTICE: No drugs, alcohol
• Phones off · No photos or video
• Wear comfy layers · Bare feet or clean indoor shoes
• Be mindful with socks (slippery!)
• Consent first when dancing with others
• Deodorant yes · No perfume/essential oils
• No noisy or light-up clothing/jewelry · Leave flow toys & instruments at home
• Keep clapping/stomping/cheering minimal- use your body movement to express
• Boundaries: use body language or say NO if needed · Crew is here to support
• Contact Improv is welcome in small doses—please don’t let your whole dance be CI. If the space is crowded, keep it to the perimeter and leave the center open for solo exploration.

Sunday Dance is an ongoing moving-meditation- conscious-embodied-dance-experience.

Our sessions begin with carefully curated music and skilled guidance to allow a safe space for focusing awareness inward in order to express our dance outward. The music shifts and changes in tempo and style during the session to support the discovery and release process. We conclude with a grounding closing circle. The full experience is 90 minutes in the studio, the benefits are lasting.

This a fun, revealing practice that can benefit anyone (over 18) willing to try it.

If this is your first time - welcome.
