We are excited to announce that the first Chicago Twitter Developer Community event will be taking place at Sprout Social (http://www.sproutsocial.com) on February 15th.
Sprout Social has a long history of using Twitter's tools to build their business. They started building their product on the public APIs, as they grew their business they added more power from the streaming APIs, and recently they've integrated the cutting edge data access methods from Twitter. On top of that they've built incredible functionality and a very valuable business.
Joining us will be Jeff Lesser of Twitter's Product Marketing team and Aaron Rankin, a co-founder and the CTO of Sprout Social. Come hear Twitter's perspective about Sprout Social's journey to becoming a stand-out business and close partner, and learn from the Sprout Social engineering team about how they use Twitter's developer tools.

Aaron Rankin
Aaron Rankin is CTO and co-founder at Sprout Social, a leading provider of social media engagement, advocacy and analytics solutions for business. He leads the company’s technology strategy and oversees all of its engineering efforts.
Jake Strang
Jake Strang is a platform software engineer on Sprout Social's reporting squad. After graduating from Washington University in St. Louis, he worked with three Arch Grant winning start-ups and spent some time as a software consultant before moving to Chicago in early 2016 to join the Sprout team.
Jeff Lesser
Jeff is a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Twitter responsible for leading the marketing of the initiative to make Twitter the best place for businesses and people to connect. When going beyond 140 characters Jeff likes to snowboard, bike, listen to music and try new beers and whiskey.
Ashleigh Baytala
Ashleigh Baytala is an Account Manager and GNIP Optimization Specialist at Sprout Social. When she is not training customers on the Sprout platform and building GNIP queries, she can be found exploring Chicago restaurants and planning her next trip abroad. Follow her on twitter @ashleighbaytala.
