Join us for an easy-to-understand French guided tour of the Musée Cognacq-Jay. Follow our guide and immerse yourself in the elegance of the 18th century as you explore the Musée Cognacq-Jay, a true artistic treasure nestled in the heart of the Marais.

Located in the splendid Hôtel Donon, in the Marais district, the museum’s collection of 18th-century European art evokes the refined lifestyle of the Age of Enlightenment. Visitors are invited to discover a museum that presents a high-quality ensemble of paintings and sculptures, where renowned artists such as Lemoyne, Chardin, and Fragonard are displayed alongside lesser-known masters including Lavreince and Saly.

Situé dans le somptueux Hôtel Donon, dans le quartier du Marais, la collection d’art européen du XVIIIe siècle évoque la vie raffinée du siècle des Lumières. Venez découvrir ce musée qui présente un ensemble de peintures et de sculptures de qualité, où les grands artistes (Lemoyne, Chardin, Fragonard) voisinent avec des maîtres moins connus (Lavreince, Saly). Des boiseries, des meubles et des objets d’art décoratif évoquent le cadre de vie de la société élégante.
