Tuesday Mornings 10:00-11:30 - Meetup at Restaurant Le Cristal - Béziers, France
French Tuesdays is a relaxed and welcoming French conversation group for non-native speakers living in or visiting the Béziers area. All levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced learners.
Participants work in two separate groups depending on level:
🇫🇷 Beginner Track
Perfect for beginners and false beginners who want to start speaking French with confidence in real-life situations.
Each week beginners work with:
• Guided video lessons
• Beginner speaking dialogues
• Vocabulary and pronunciation support
• Structured partner role-plays
• Practical everyday French
The beginner activities focus on useful French for daily life in France and are designed to help students speak naturally without overwhelming grammar explanations.
🇫🇷 Intermediate to Advanced Track
Designed for learners who already speak some French and want to improve grammar, fluency, and conversation skills.
Each week includes:
• Video lesson(s)
• Printable study guide
• Supplementary learning materials
• Themed discussion questions
• Vocabulary list & Quizlet study set
Jennifer sends all materials by email before the meetup. The first emails go out on Wednesday morning the week before the session, so be sure to sign up early.
Every Tuesday you will meet with experienced French teacher Jennifer Crespin from Love Learning Languages while enjoying conversation and meeting new friends from the region in a relaxed café environment.
We try very hard to speak French during the meetup, but questions are always welcome.
Weekly participation fee: 10€
NOTE: This is not a language exchange and is not intended for native French speakers.

LES THÈMES DE LA SEMAINE: Le Futur Simple + Les Professions (Intermediate-Advanced); La Boulangerie (Beginners)
This meetup is open to all levels, even if you're a beginner! Beginners and intermediate-advanced level learners will not work on the same lessons.
Intermediate to advanced level learners will focus on a grammar lesson and conversation based on the weekly themes.
Beginners will follow a separate track focused on simple, real-life French they can start using straight away (café, shopping, everyday situations, etc.). The beginner lessons are not grammar heavy.
Everyone is asked to order at least one hot or cold drink, and this is not included in the class fee. Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to place your order so that we can start on time.
If you can't meet up in person this week, you can still RSVP and receive the lesson materials to study on your own. Scroll down to sign up.
Please note that no refunds are available once lesson materials have been emailed to you. If you can't make it on Tuesday, you will still have everything you need to study on your own this week.
