A Sunday book club brought to you by Paris Lit Up.

As a break from the Sunday Writing Sessions, join us at Neuvième Sauvage for a Bring-Your-Own-Book Club, part of the final day of Paris Lit Up’s inaugural IGNITE! Festival and the launch of our new monthly book club.

For this first session, there’s no assigned reading. Instead, bring a book of your own—something you’re currently reading, something you love, something you hate, something you’ve been meaning to finish, or simply something you’d like to talk about.

From 10:00 to 12:00, we’ll get together over coffee and breakfast to talk books, swap recommendations, discover what everyone else has been reading, and share whatever has caught our attention lately. Fiction, poetry, nonfiction, graphic novels, essays, experimental writing and everything in between are welcome.

This session will also officially launch Paris Lit Up’s monthly book club. During the morning, we’ll put forward suggestions and choose our first book together, which we’ll read over the following month and meet again to discuss in November.

So bring a book, bring a recommendation, or simply bring yourself. You don’t need to have finished anything, prepared anything, or even know what you want to recommend—you’re just as welcome to come along, listen and discover something new to read.

The Bring-Your-Own-Book Club is free to attend.
