Grammondo - New Year Hike

Happy New Year!

Here is an opportunity to shed some weight gained during christmas. The weather looks reasonable good for Saturday, winter weather with sunshine and a dash of clouds, low winds. Thus I propose to go to Grammondo, starting from Castellar. It is one of the beautiful coastal hikes in the surroundings of Menton with views over the mediterranean from Italy to St Tropez on the one side and the panoramic summits of the Mercantour in the backdrop, already snow covered. Also Corsia is visible if the air is clear enough.

Duration: about 3h to go up, 2h to go down plus time for picnic
