TERRAIN: Paved country roads, short distance on highways (3KMS ON #9) There is a nice bike lane for most of it.

DISTANCE: approx 47+ kms

OPTIONS FOR EARLIER RETURN

TIME: 4-5+ hours @ APPROX 20-22KMS AN HOUR - depends on the person/speed/stops etc.

This is a fairly flat easy ride through the countryside on paved roads. There will be traffic but not very much.

Mind your road rules and reflective clothes or tape helps, lights on your bike and a mirror is very helpful also.

This ride will take us through the countryside of mostly farm and open flat areas. We will head towards Harrison Hot Springs where we will have lunch at the beach or a park. This is approx 20kms. If we are lucky we may be able to get a coffee!! We will return pretty much the same way with an extra country route after a stop at the Farm House for an ice-cream/treat which will be approx 27kms.

Dress according to the weather conditions and wear good footwear.
