***Date: Sunday, June 7, 2026 ****
*** Time: 1:00 PM
*** Meeting Point: Place de la Réflexion (on Peel Street, right across the street from ÉTS University) 📍
Metro Access: It is a quick 5-minute walk (350 meters) from the Bonaventure metro station. 🚇

### ⚠️ Important Notes
***Capacity Limit: Space is limited to a maximum of 14 people (including me, the host). 👥

  • Cancellations: If your plans change or you can no longer make it, please cancel your sign-up as soon as possible so someone else from the waitlist can take your spot. 🔄
*** Language & Vibes: **Everyone is welcome! We speak French, English, Arabic, Spanish, and pretty much any language you are comfortable with. If you want to practice a language, you can easily pair up with someone during the ride. Bring your best energy and a good sense of humor! 🗣️✨🎭
** *Weather & Wind: **The current forecast shows a high of around 13°C. It might feel a bit brisk or windy while cycling, so please bring a light jacket or sweater to stay warm! 🧥💨
*** Final Check: **Please make sure to check the Meetup event page the day before (Saturday) for a final weather confirmation before we head out. 📲

### 🗺️ The Route & Distance
** Total Distance:** *13.5 km of scenic, flat path along the water. 🌊
*** Pace: Leisurely and relaxed! 🐢
*** Breaks: **Two scheduled short breaks along the way to rest and hydrate. 🥤

### 🥖 Destination: The Picnic & Beyond
** Location:** *René-Lévesque Park 🌳
*** Time at the Park: We will spend about 90 to 120 minutes hanging out, eating, and relaxing. This is flexible depending on the weather and how everyone feels—we can absolutely stay longer if we're having a great time! 🕒
*** What to Bring: BYOD&S (Bring Your Own Drinks & Snacks). Pack your favorite picnic foods and a blanket! 🍇🥪☀️
*** After-Event Plans (Optional): Once we wrap up at the park, anyone who wants to keep the vibe going is welcome to ride back along the canal. There are a few options on the canal to have good food and a couple of drinks; a couple of suggestions would be Terrasse St-Ambroise or Memento. 🍻🍔

### 🚲 Wheels & Logistics
*** Bikes: **Bring your own ride! 🚲
***Bike-Share Users [BIXI]: **Pick up a bike at the station near our downtown departure point on Peel Street, and dock it at the station located right at the entrance of René-Lévesque Park when we arrive.
*** First-Time BIXI Users: **If this is your first time using the bike-share system, please download the app, sign up, and link your credit card beforehand so you are fully set up and ready to unlock your bike at departure! 📲💳
