I'm sorry. I didn't expect my one message to explode into such a huge discussion about random things.

Re: [furries-290] Acceptance

I don't mean to interrupt, good sir's/madam's, but I do believe you could be very helpful to a fellow furry.  See, I have this problem, I am going through and deleting my old mail, I am in the thousands right now and it is a very tedious process....  Could you take this to the discussion boards? Thanks in advanced <3

First, I'm a dude. Second, a folf is a fox/wolf hybrid, and seems to be pretty common. I personally know three, and I've only been in the fandom a few months.

Re: [furries-290] Acceptance

First of all babe, no one should ever make you feel isolated or excluded because ur not 'gay' or of the bisexual or homosexual persuasion. Honestly treating someone as an outsider because of their sexual implications is just another form of sexual segregation that has no business in progressive society? Don't feel insulted from that situation babe, a lot of people that feel the need to collectively exclude themselves from others are those with their own issues that they can't easily articulate. I'm not saying they're necessarily Aholes for making you feel like shit, but most likely feel that they are within their 'element' and all those that don't share their views or opinions are considered strange by their standards. And most likely these same people feel just as isolated in normal society, so they feel like they can unwind in certain conventions of personal intrest, in which they assume people will naturally agree with their lifestyle or way of
thinking.

Anyway the only reason i wanted to touch base on that is because i've been in the same situation. I'm straight, and I'm slowly excepting my role as a furry. However, although this planet I live on is obscure and strange, like living in the 4th dimension at times, I have one sole anchor of unshaken confidence. And that is my sexual identity. I've been there and done that, but i'd be making a fool of myself to pretend to be someone i'm not. And i find confidence in that single identity. I am who I am, and if the furry community (and granted ive only been a part of it for about 8 months now) is really that accepting then there should be no barriers of sexual segregation. Stand tall in who you are babe, and don't let the slings and arrows of the exceptional few knock down your confidence, or ruin your opinion of quite possibly a great avenue for personal growth and identity. Again im drawing straws here in consideration for other people's experiences,
however my own experience in 'furry' thus far has been advantageous and insightful.

Okay enough of that.

Anyway right quick, can someone tell me wth is a "folf?"

I read that in the first chick's post and I couldn't pay attention to the rest because 'Folf' caught me off guard and for the rest of the paragraph i kept asking myself what the f*ck was a 'Folf?!'

I want to know!

I need to know!

I assumed she made a spelling error but then i was like, what letters next to the 'F' key could possibly make up an animal name? So could someone totally tell me wth is a Folf? That would make my day, because I really want to know...
