greetings everyone,

this announcement is intended for those new to Python or want to
solidify their existing knowledge for GAE development.

i was so excited to announce Alex's birthday (well after everyone
already greeted him by song) that i forgot my most important
announcement: my upcoming hardcore intro to Python that also covers
some intermediate topics. i was hoping for a more formal announcements
time *after* the meeting but everyone seemed to have just vanished
soon after!
