INJECT: The Digital Creativity Tool for Journalists

Details
INJECT is a EU-funded H2020 project targeted at Europe’s news and media sector. It has developed smart digital support for journalists to improve their productivity and creativity. Using information retrieval and artificial intelligence technologies, INJECT supports journalists to discover angles on stories and to examine information sources behind these angles, as to do these tasks more quickly than at present. It also supports journalists to be more productive by accessing personalised information sources.
INJECT is available to journalists as software plug-ins to Google Docs, Wordpress and other Content Management tools, as well as a standalone web application. It can be tailored to support journalists working in different European languages, and to make smart use of existing news archives. The INJECT project is currently establishing communities of news organisations and technology companies across Europe who might use INJECT in their newsrooms. The first such ecosystem has been established in Norway. More information about INJECT as at:
https://injectproject.eu (https://injectproject.eu/)
This Hacks/Hackers session will outline the project and demonstrate the INJECT tool’s capabilities and features.
La presentazione si terrà in inglese, mentre sarà possibile porre domande in italiano con traduzione sintetica consecutiva.
