Legal Hackers is the largest grassroots legal innovation community in the World. It started in 2012 in Brooklyn, NY and since then has spread to 120+ cities on 6 continents.
Legal Hackers has an open, collaborative ethos deriving from the Hacker Ethic. Our mission is to foster creative problem-solving at the intersection of law and technology by bringing together people of diverse backgrounds. That includes not only legal technology, but also things like open data and technology policy. We are not a computer security organization and do not support or engage in illegal activities (we are neither a “black hat” nor “white hat” group).
