eccoci con un nuovo evento del nostro Meetup! Questa volta il nostro ospite sarà Andrea Bessi. L'incontro si terrà il 21 Maggio presso Databiz, in Viale della Repubblica a Treviso.

Il talk:

Reading from a configuration file is one of the tasks that every developer has to face sooner or later; most of us are so used to it that we give it for granted. During this talk we will introduce a particularly nested and complex configuration example, and then we will explore different approaches for reading it, assessing the pros and cons of each of them. It will also be a good opportunity for exploring the different techniques that can be used in Scala.

Una breve bio di Andrea:

Andrea graduated in Economics in 2013 and has since become a full time software developer.
While he started as a Java developer, he soon became a functional programming enthusiast and moved to Scala, which now uses as his main language.
His main research interests include strongly typed functional programming languages, reactive architectures and crack jokes.
He is also a certified Lightbend trainer for Scala and Apache Spark.

Dopo il talk, come al solito, per chi vorrà ci sarà po' di sano networking in qualche locale nei paraggi.
