Come practise your foreign language skills (Dutch, English, Spanish, French, and more!) with other internationally minded people at our Amsterdam Language Cafe!
We organise single language nights (English, Dutch, Spanish, French, etc.) that take place on Wednesdays at Koentact Dutch Language School, Elandsgracht 70. We also organise All Languages Parties that take place on Fridays in De Hallen where you can practise all languages! Check out our upcoming events. Hope to meet you soon!

We're back!
What could be a better way to spend your Friday evening than by meeting nice people, practicing your favourite languages and joining a dance workshop?
If this sounds like fun to you, we’d love to have you join us at our first salsa edition of Amsterdam Language Café for 2025. This year we've invited our friends at Punto Cubano to run the salsa workshops and help us create yet another special night.
Programme:
The concept of the Amsterdam Language Cafe is simple: all nationalities are welcome and you can practice any language you want to improve. You will get a sticker with your name, the languages you speak and the languages you want to practice. After that, your language exchange experience can begin!You are welcome from 20.00 o'clock onwards. Throughout the evening, Punto Cubano will also host two optional 30 minute cuban salsa workshops.

Curious about Cuban Salsa? Join a workshop hosted by Punto Cubano. Are you completely new to salsa? Come try the Beginner Workshop at 21:00. Do you have already some experience? You are welcome to join the Intermediate Workshop at 21:30. Guaranteed fun will follow!We are Punto Cubano Salsa Amsterdam and we have been around for 25 years to make people fall in love with Cuban salsa. With our team of experienced teachers, we will for sure do the same with you. After this workshop, feel free to sign up for group classes in our studio in Oud-West every Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday evening. Meet our welcoming international community and enjoy having fun on the dance floor. We hope to meet you soon!
Koentact language course raffle:
As usual, Dutch Language School Koentact is going to raffle a free evening Dutch Language Course worth 510 euros. All non-native dutch speakers will have a chance to participate!Location:

Do you feel like meeting new people, having fun while practicing your Italian or helping others to practice Italian in a relaxed and cosy environment? If so, we’d love to have you join our Italian workshop and language café! :)
Level:
From A1+ (including natives)
This event is not for complete beginners but for beginners+, intermediate, and advanced speakers since we’ll be focusing on having conversations in Italian. Italian natives are also more than welcome to help practice Italian with non natives (and will even get a free drink for their help)!Programme:
Please start arriving from 19:00 onwards at Koentact Dutch Language School. We'll run the first workshop di italiano between 19:30 to 20:30. Vi aspettiamo a partire dalle 19:00 alla Koentact Dutch Language School. Cominceremo il primo workshop tra le 19:30 e le 20:30, poi faremo una pausa di 15 minuti per bere qualcosa e fare chiacchierare con i nostri nuovi amici, in italiano naturalmente Verso le 20:45 continueremo con il secondo workshop che durerà fino alle 21:30.Livello:

Questo evento non è pensato per principianti assoluti, ma per tutte quelle persone che hanno almeno una minima base di conversazione, intermedi e avanzati perché chiacchiereremo tutta la sera. I madrelingua italiani sono infatti i benvenuti per aiutare chi l'italiano lo studia o vorrebbe migliorarlo (e riceveranno anche una bevuta omaggio per il loro aiuto)!Fotografia:

Programma:
Aankomst vanaf 19:00 uur bij Koentact Dutch Language School. We geven de eerste Nederlandse workshop tussen 19:30 en 20:30. Dan hebben we een pauze van 15 minuten om lekker te kletsen en wat te drinken (wijntje, a biertje, or a ’pikketanussie’) met je nieuwe Nederlandstalige vrienden. Om 20:45 gaan we door met de tweede workshop tot 21:30.Niveau:

Dit evenement is niet geschikt voor complete beginners, maar voor beginners+, halfgevorderden en gevorderden, aangezien we ons zullen concentreren op het voeren van gesprekken in het Nederlands. Moedertaalsprekers zijn ook meer dan welkom om te helpen met het oefenen van het Nederlands met anderstaligen (en krijgen zelfs een gratis drankje voor hun hulp)!Fotografie:
