Easter Monday Hike: Storkow to Bad Saarow (18.5 km)

The hike starts in Storkow, where we have short glimpse into its castle and cross a draw bridge over the Storkow canal.
Before climbing one of Brandenburg's biggest inland dune, we get a view of Lake Storkow.
After crossing forests and the village of Kolipin with its lake, we arrive at Bad Saarow, a spa town renowned for its hot springs and mineral-rich mud. From there, we take two trains back to Berlin in the late afternoon.
Meet us in the first car of the train RE7, departing from
Ostkreuz station at 11:02 am on platform 1,
(transfer in Königs Wusterhausen to RB36)
arriving at Storkow (Mark) at 11:57 am
Unless you subscribed to the Deutschlandticket, you'll need to buy a ticket to Storkow (Mark) and from Bad Saarow back to Berlin.
Please note:
- As a grown-up, you are responsible for yourself.
- Come prepared for cold and windy weather.
- Wear appropriate footwear, we may come across some sandy and muddy sections.
- Forecasts predict low chance of rain, but you never know...
- Bring enough water, food and some cash with you.
