Autodesk Fusion setup and basics (English, Paid course)

This course is recommended for people with basic understanding of 3D design. However, this is a basics course, so everyone is welcome.

The course will be held in english, but you can ask questions in Norwegian.

The fee is 250kr.

The main focus of this basics course will be sketch creation and solid tools. I will start with general info about Fusion such as: best applications, differences between it and other 3d modeling software and limitations of this program. After that, we will make a simple design where I'll also showcase basic user parameters(table of values that make your design very adjustable) setup. I will be answering questions at the end of this course about different ways to design in fusion, formats, where to look for tutorials, etc.

It's better for you to have an autodesk account, as well as an active fusion 360 license for this course. If you don't have one, the pages for personal license, and personal license renewal guide are listed below:

Bring your own laptop. If you're not a member or don't have access to the door, ring the doorbell whenever you arrive.

Vi samles for en sosial, praktisk workshopekveld med fokus på:
• Tilpasning av rustningsdeler (stropping, velcro, magneter, hengsler)
• Reperasjon av sprekker, løs lim, slitte fester osv.
• Komfort-oppgraderinger (polstring, vektfordeling, skjulte fester)
• Overflatearbeid: sliping, sparkel, maling og weathering
• Tips til verktøy, materialer og smarte løsninger
• Erfaringsutveksling og nerding om armor, props og kostymer

Ta gjerne med:
• Rustning / deler / props du vil jobbe på
• Referansebilder/inspirasjon
• Evt. egne småverktøy eller spesialdeler (spenner, webbing, magneter, lim osv.)

Det vil også være tilgang til felles verktøy og grunnleggende materialer – vi finner ut av ting sammen.

• Både nybegynnere og erfarne byggere
• Cosplayere, prop-makere, LARP’ere, film-/teaterfolk og andre kostymeinteresserte
• Deg som enten vil starte et nytt prosjekt eller bare finpusse noe du allerede har
