Discussion: 2001: A Space Odyssey

We will be discussing 2001: A Space Odyssey (#7 on our top 100 movie list). Filmsite.org called this 1968 movie directed by Stanley Kubrick a "metaphoric, thought-provoking, grandiose, science-fiction landmark film." Of note is Hal 9000, the super computer who Movieline says "has personal problems that make him a more engaging character than any of the humans in this or most other movies of the last few decades."
