Il 18 Aprile ci vediamo fisicamente in Sourcesense per seguire insieme Jon Bodner, autore di "Learning Go". Il Meetup sarà insieme ai nostri amici del Golang Torino e Golang Milano!

In questo intervento, tratto dal capitolo sui test, Jon coprirà alcuni dei punti salienti dei test in Go. Imparerai le basi del testing in Go, come utilizzare i "table test", e come sfruttare la concorrenza per ridurre i tempi di esecuzione delle tue suite. Menzioneremo anche il nuovo comportamento del ciclo for arrivato in Go 1.22, ed altri concetti importanti quali code coverage, fuzzing e benchmarking.

The 18th of April let's meet all together in Sourcesense (physically) to listen to Jon Bodner, author of "Learning Go". The Meetup will be together with our friends of Golang Torino and Golang Milano!

In this (remote) talk drawn from the testing chapter in Learning Go, Jon will cover some of the highlights of testing in Go. You’ll learn the basics of testing in Go, how to use table tests, concurrency and testing (with a side trip to talk about the new for loop behavior in Go 1.22), code coverage, fuzzing, and benchmarking.
