We are a community of young locals and expats from over 20 different countries that gather at the Maniquí art bar in Malasaña.
Apart from art meetups every Wednesday, and curry nights every Thursday we will also start to gather and practice our many languages on Tuesdays.
I want to make sure everyone feels very welcome, and we always make a conscious effort to introduce everyone to everyone throughout our events.

Come loosen your tongues with a few beers or cocktails at one of the most original dive dive bars in Malasaña every Saturday for the Sip N' Speak Malasaña language exchange!
We have a great community of young, friendly people from around the world, and always try to introduce everyone to everyone in the group. We usually have around 50-60 people at the event, and are focused mostly on making new international friends and having fun, so get ready to party!
The event will take place at Maniquí cocktail / art bar (www.instagram.com/maniquibar).The event often fills up so please click attending every time you are coming so we know who is joining us. Even if you're a maybe, just attend anyway! And if you're coming in the peak (usually 9-11pm), you can check if the bar is full on this link: www.shorten.ee/maniqui.
We also continue the party till 3am most nights (and sometimes after at a club) so feel free to come for the last hours as well!**IMPORTANT** We have been having some complaints from the neighbours in our street, for this reason we ask you to please go to the plaza 10 meters down the hill to smoke/talk. And if you see anyone standing in front of the bar please also take them with you. Thanks!

Normalmente, contamos con unas 50-60 personas en el evento y nos centramos principalmente en hacer nuevos amigos internacionales y divertirnos, ¡así que prepárate para la fiesta!

El evento suele llenarse, así que haz clic en "asistir" cada vez que vengas para saber quién se une a nosotros. ¡Incluso si estás indeciso, ven de todas maneras!
IMPORTANTE Hemos recibido algunas quejas de los vecinos de nuestra calle, por esta razón te pedimos que por favor vayas a la plaza a 10 metros cuesta abajo para fumar/hablar. Y si ves a alguien parado frente al bar, por favor llévalos contigo. ¡Gracias!
