We love Java because of it's mature ecosystem, strong typing system, and large community. From the first lines of code we learnt how to deal with workaround for Java code and still use them. What if we can be even more productive and write safer code? In this talk you'll see why typical java developers make a lot of safety compromises and how to make code safer in everyday tasks using Kotlin by employing it's typesystem and optional types. Even more: you'll remove good part of unit tests.
