Join us for our Tuesday Sangha—a welcoming space for meditating together and exploring the wisdom of the Buddhist path in the Insight (Vipassana) tradition.
Sessions typically include:
🧘 30-minute guided meditation
📖 A Dharma talk: a practical teaching to inspire joy, wisdom, and presence in daily life.
💬 Space for reflection & Q&A: fostering shared exploration and personal insights.
This session is open to everyone, whether you're new to meditation or a longtime practitioner.
📍 Location:
Sala Dāna
c/ Luis Vélez de Guevara, 9
(Street level, local 2D – next to the Correos post office)
28012 Madrid (Tirso de Molina)
Our practice space is comfortable and climate-controlled, with meditation cushions, chairs, and stools available. Please remove your street shoes before entering.
💛 Contribution: Dāna (voluntary donation)
The teachings are offered in a spirit of generosity, so there is no set fee for attending. If you would like, you may offer a voluntary donation after the session. Donations help support Sala Dāna, a non-profit center, in continuing to provide an accessible space for practice and study.
🌿 All are welcome! We look forward to practicing together.
Feel free to bring a friend or share this event with others who might be interested. RSVP at this page to help us prepare the space for the session.
About the Facilitator:
Uri has been practicing in the Insight (Vipassana) tradition since 2012, learning from various teachers. His approach integrates the Buddhist path into daily life through open-minded exploration and a close study of early Buddhist texts (Suttas). He has translated Joseph Goldstein’s Mindfulness: A Practical Guide to Awakening into Hebrew and is currently working on a book with translations of selected Suttas.
