Title: Quantum-centric supercomputing and applications.
Abstract: Quantum-centric supercomputing (QCSC) is a new computational framework that makes use of high-performance classical and quantum computing in concert. In this talk, I will review IBM's roadmap for QCSC, illustrating how QCSC algorithms have enabled new use cases in chemistry and materials science, and the role of QCSC in the future of the quantum era.
And a short Bio: Javier Robledo-Moreno is a Research Scientist at IBM Quantum. Since he joined IBM two years ago, his research has focused on the development and implementation of quantum-centric supercomputing algorithms to study quantum many-body problems. Javier obtained his PhD in Physics from New York University and the Flatiron Institute in 2023.
