The Challenge officially begins. This first session is our starting point together — a chance to meet everyone taking part, hear directly from AWS about what the program is, and get oriented before the real studying begins.
**What to expect:**
• Introductions — who's taking part and which certification they're aiming for
• AWS walks us through the Challenge: what it is and how it runs
• How to approach studying over the coming months, and what a realistic pace looks like
• Open floor for questions
**Who is this for?** Everyone registered for the AWS AI & ML Get Certified Challenge, on any track. Student Builder Club members welcome.
**What to bring:** Nothing to prepare — just turn up. Bring any questions you have about how the program works.

🚀 Kick-off Session — AWS AI/ML Get Certified Challenge 2026

Durante años, Serverless nos hizo pensar en arquitecturas donde no teníamos que preocuparnos por administrar servidores. Pero el ecosistema está evolucionando y AWS está abriendo nuevas posibilidades para escenarios donde antes Serverless no siempre parecía viable.

En esta sesión de AWS User Group Serverless Colombia, Evandro Pires —AWS Serverless Hero, sls.guru Ambassador y Founder @ tnkr— nos acompañará a explorar Lambda Managed Instances y qué cambia realmente con esta nueva propuesta.

Evandro compartirá por qué durante años no siempre encontró viable llevar Serverless a ciertos escenarios de negocio, qué ha cambiado con los nuevos recursos de AWS y por qué esto puede abrir oportunidades especialmente interesantes para empresas y arquitecturas de mayor escala.

Además, profundizaremos en los conceptos y funcionamiento detrás de estos servicios para entender mejor cuándo tienen sentido, qué problemas buscan resolver y cómo pueden influir en nuestras decisiones de arquitectura. ☁️⚡
