How do you actually drive product growth?

This time at ProductTank Prague, we're bringing together product and growth leaders from different companies and industries to share real stories of user acquisition, activation, and monetization. Expect honest stories about experiments that worked, experiments that didn't, and what they learned. User acquisition up to revenue, self-service strategies, product-led growth to product-led sales.

The common thread? Growth doesn't happen in a silo. Product, marketing, and sales all influence the same customer journey — and understanding those connections is becoming an increasingly important part of building products.

**Agenda**

18:00 — Doors open & networking
18:30 — Welcome, Talks & discussion
20:00 — Networking, drinks & food
21:00 — End

**Speakers**
We have 3 confirmed speakers as of now:

***Tomáš Gabík — Apify***
**Growth flywheel: how Product Advocacy drives expansion at Apify**
A practical look at how Product Advocacy works expansion at Apify — the model, plus the real lessons from running it: metrics that mislead, outreach that doesn't read like AI, and where AI helps versus where it quietly costs us. Useful for Sales, Product Advocacy, Marketing, or anyone curious how growth expansion runs day to day.

**Short Bio**
*Tomáš brings a rare combination of technical depth and customer-facing commercial experience. Before joining Apify, he worked his way from business analysis and solution engineering to Principal Sales Engineer at GoodData, translating complex technology into value customers could actually understand and buy. At Apify, he’s also been building with the product himself — making him a great person to talk about the space where product, customer needs, and revenue meet. ([GoodData](https://www.gooddata.ai/resources/apis-in-data-analytics/?utm_source=chatgpt.com))*

***Anett Rolikova - Community lead at WeWork***
**Community ≠ Activity**
We often measure community through activity: events attended, messages sent, members joined, engagement generated. But activity isn't the same as connection — and not everyone using your product is necessarily part of your community.

This talk explores how my understanding of community changed from thinking about channels and availability to thinking about relationships and experiences. I'll share a simple framework I now use: Connect → Curate → Create, and explore what community builders can do that AI and automation can't replace.

Because the real question isn't how much activity you created. It's what remains when you leave?

**Short bio**
Anett has spent 7+ years building and scaling communities around technology products, from developer communities and ambassador programs to ecosystems and events reaching thousands of people. Her perspective brings an important dimension to our growth conversation: acquisition and growth don't have to start with another paid channel — community itself can become a growth engine. She'll bring hands-on lessons from connecting products, developers, founders, partners, and communities rather than treating growth as a funnel owned by one team.

***Lukáš Havlíček — Engineering Manager, Pipedrive***
**What Signup Experiments Taught Us About Friction**
Everyone agrees signup friction kills conversion. Few agree on what friction is. Over the course of this year, Pipedrive ran 19 A/B tests on its signup flow. Some results confirmed the playbook, others broke it. In this talk you'll get practical examples of which signup elements are worth testing, how to design "no-harm" and fake-door tests, and why a winning signup test still has to prove itself further down the funnel.

**Short bio**
*Lukáš leads an engineering team at Pipedrive focused specifically on growth engineering and rapid experimentation. Before moving into engineering management, he was the tech lead of a cross-functional team experimenting with the new-customer journey, working alongside product, design, research, and data from discovery through delivery. That makes him perfectly placed to show us what growth experimentation looks like when you actually have to build it, measure it, learn from it, and decide what to try next. **Hi Product People in Düsseldorf! 👋**

Everyone's now building and shipping products with GenAI. But the challenge still lies with understanding if and when and by how much is the use of GenAI paying off? 💰

Join us for an interesting panel discussion on the ROI of AI, in the products we build and in the teams that build them. We'll bring together product people and professionals that are building or have built such products and dive into how they cut through the hype and get them to share what's working from their experience.

**Connecting business goals with outcomes and everyday product work**
Why is it still so difficult for product teams to clearly explain how their work contributes to business goals?

Impact Mapping is a simple but powerful tool that helps teams connect the dots between “what are we building?” and “why does this matter?” by connecting

* Business goals
* Actors
* Behavioural changes and outcomes
* Concrete solutions

In this hands-on crash course, we will build an impact map together based on an example goal. Step by step, you will practise connecting:

Goal → Actor → Outcome → Solution

You’ll leave with a clear mental model you can immediately apply in product discovery, roadmap discussions, or strategy conversations.

Agenda
17.45 Doors open
18.00 Impact Mapping Workshop
19.15 Networking
20.00 End of event

**Who is this workshop for?**
Designed for Product Managers, Product Designers, and Product Engineers. The number of participants is limited to keep it hands-on.

**Thank you to our sponsor Liip!**

6:45 p.m. – Josef M. Winkler & Andreas Wünsche – „Behavioural Design: What Makes People Click?"
\~7:45 p.m. – Networking and drinks, open end
##############

**Discover how behavioural science and product psychology may help you design products and services people actually use.**

Why do people click, hesitate, abandon a process or choose one option over another?

And more importantly: what can you do with that knowledge when designing digital products and services?

In this interactive session, you’ll explore the psychology behind everyday decisions and discover how insights from behavioural economics and cognitive science can make your product experiences more intuitive, persuasive and effective.

You’ll see how seemingly small design choices can have a surprisingly big impact. From helping customers make decisions with less effort to encouraging desired behaviours and creating smoother, more satisfying experiences — Behavioural Design gives you a practical toolkit for influencing how people interact with your product and your services.

We’ll also look beyond clicks and conversions. What does Behavioural Design mean for customer satisfaction, product performance and ultimately your business?

Bringing real-world and everyday examples to the session, Andreas and Josef will show you where behavioural principles are already at work, why they matter and how you and your team can start applying them in your product development process.

This session is definitely for your if you work in product, marketing, design or development and want to better understand what really drives your customers.

Behavioural Design: What Makes People Click?

KOLEO

Hey, Valencia product people! 👋

Our October ProductTank event is ready, and you’re invited!
This time, we’re exploring **machine learning for product people**, with an expert speaker to help us make sense of the topic and what it means for our work.

📍 **New venue:** We’ll be hosted by **[Deutsche Telekom IT](https://maps.app.goo.gl/Yyyrmjd8b42kYapJ8)**[ ](https://maps.app.goo.gl/Yyyrmjd8b42kYapJ8)this time, so make sure you head to the right location!

**About the talk**

Machine learning can create product capabilities that would be extremely difficult or impossible to build with manually written rules alone.

It can also fail silently, behave differently as users and data change, improve a model’s test score without improving the product, and turn a seemingly simple feature into an open-ended research project.

ML is not just another backend service. Unlike ordinary software, you cannot fully define its behavior in advance and expect it to remain stable. It depends on data, requires continuous testing and monitoring, and almost every attempt to improve it involves uncertainty and experimentation.

In this talk, we will explore:
\- when ML is the right tool\, and when a simpler solution is better
\- how to plan effort\, timelines\, and expected impact when the outcome is uncertain
\- what data\, infrastructure\, testing\, monitoring\, and clear ownership ML products require
\- why better model metrics do not always lead to better product outcomes

The goal is not to scare product teams away from ML, but to make its real costs, risks, and requirements visible before committing to it.

And one more friendly reminder
