We are hosting another Waterford Sawdust and Spirits Woodworking Social and would love to have you join us. This is a relaxed, informal gathering for anyone who enjoys working with wood, whether you have a fully equipped home shop or you are just starting to learn the basics. We aim to keep these evenings low-pressure, providing a space to trade stories about recent projects, share tips on technique, or just talk shop over a drink.

Whether you are a seasoned furniture maker or someone who just picked up their first chisel, you are welcome here. We find that the best part of these socials is simply connecting with other local makers and seeing what everyone else is currently building. If you have been looking for a community of folks who speak your language, this is a great chance to meet them. We hope to see you there, so please go ahead and RSVP if you think you can make it.

Join us for a hands-on afternoon exploring the craft of shadow puppetry at our upcoming gathering in Conway. This event is an opportunity to step away from digital media and get back to the basics of light, silhouette, and storytelling. We will spend some time sharing different techniques for building puppets and experimenting with ways to manipulate light to create depth and movement on a screen.

Whether you have been working with shadow puppets for years or are just curious about how the process works, you are welcome to join us. This is a collaborative space meant for sharing ideas and learning from one another, so feel free to bring any projects you are currently working on or just come ready to learn something new. We would love to have you there, so please take a moment to RSVP if you think you can make it so we have a better idea of how many folks to expect.
