PyData Roma Capitale Meetup! 🎉
Let's pick up where we left off and continue our mission to make Rome a fantastic place for software engineering and data science.
The presentations for this event will be announced soon. You could be the next speaker for a future event. If you have a presentation, some interesting code, or an open problem you'd like to discuss with the community, compile the form and let us know! (Proposals can be in English or Italian, whatever makes you comfortable.)
Location: Via Sandro Sandri 81
Date: March 5th 2025
Schedule:

  • 18:00 🚪 Door Opening
  • 18:20 ELIS Innovation Hub and Pydata presentations
  • 18:45 🎤 Talk 1 - Exploring Multi-Agent Systems with AutoGen - Daniele Giunta (AI engineer @ Elis Innovation Hub)
  • 19.15 🎤 Talk 2 - Data and AI for the common good - Davide Coppola (Data scientist)
  • 19.45 🤝 Socializing

Here is a short description of the two presentations:

1. Exploring Multi-Agent Systems with AutoGen

This speech will explore the power of multi-agent AI systems and the possibilities they unlock for modern data-driven work. It will demonstrate how multiple AI 'agents,' each with unique roles and expertise, can collaborate to solve complex problems more efficiently. Real-world scenarios will be examined, showcasing how coordinated AI agents communicate, interact, and refine their outputs to create innovative solutions that adapt to changing needs. The talk will offer a fresh perspective on AI collaboration, highlighting the potential of multi-agent frameworks like AutoGen to transform data projects and beyond."

2. Data and AI for the common good

Today, data is being collected by everyone—from multinational corporations to small organizations striving for a more sustainable future. However, these smaller organizations often lack the technical expertise and financial resources to turn data into useful applications for their work.
What if they could be supported?
This presentation will share the speaker's experience as a volunteer at FruitPunch AI, a community that has enabled him to apply his knowledge to concrete projects aimed at wildlife conservation in various parts of the world.
