Welcome to Rainbow Spinnakers Sailing Club, a friendly and inclusive community for LGBTQ+ people who share a passion for sailing. Whether you’re a newcomer to the sport or an old salt, our group offers the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals, learn new skills, and embark on sailing adventures together. All are welcome, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation. Regular sails take place most weekends from around April through late November, and we host two annual parties. We hope you’ll join us on the waterways of Washington DC and Chesapeake Bay!

This fun LGBTQ+ Pride regatta is held annually in New York City. Co-sponsored by Knickerbockers Sailing Club, funds raised help support the Hudson River Community Sailing Center, a non-profit youth development and community sailing organization. We'll casually race J/24s (non-spinnaker) on the Hudson and eat & drink at the awards ceremony at the Frying Pan afterwards. If enough people sign up I'll skipper our own boat, otherwise we may crew on other teams boats. In addition to signing up here, register and donate to HRSC at:
