Hi @ all!

We decided to schedule an "Angular 2 Special" meetup in already 2 weeks (Tuesday, 17.05.2016), due to some interest from some members. Also it nicely fits the NG-Conf (https://www.ng-conf.org/) (a major yearly Angular event) which takes place this week, as well as the publication of my Video Course on "Learning Angular 2 Directives" (http://juristr.com/blog/2016/04/learning-angular2-directives-course/) which I made in collaboration with PacktPub (https://www.packtpub.com/) :)

Attention, this time it'll be on Tuesday since Monday is a holiday!

What we will do

The scope is not to have an in-depth workshop (~3 hours are by far not enough). Instead, we want to give you a good overview about what's going on in the Angular scene, what's new and what are the possibilities with a ~20min intro presentation.

Then I'd like you to do some practical coding with Angular 2 in small groups/pairs, where you'll have the possibility to further explore the Angular 2 API by implementing a small toy app. Therefore, to get most out of it, bring your own notebook with you ;).
