​This meditative sequence—focused on the chakras and subtle energy channels—comes from the teachings of Lady Niguma, the first recorded female yogi in history. Dating back nearly a thousand years, it is one of the oldest known documented yoga sequences in existence, designed not just to stretch the body but to liberate the mind from patterns of suffering.
Rooted in deep inner awareness, this class invites you to move, breathe, and return to the essence of yoga as a spiritual path. No prior knowledge of Buddhist yoga is required—just bring your presence and curiosity.
​This special session is led by Rachel Webb, Co-Executive Director of Three Jewels NYC, a nonprofit Enlightenment Studio offering authentic Tibetan Buddhist teachings through yoga, meditation, and service. Rachel is a long-time student of the Asian Classics Institute, which preserves and shares the traditional philosophical texts of Buddhism in a structured, accessible way.

Three Jewels, founded in 1996, specializes in making this timeless wisdom relevant for modern life—creating a space where people can train the body, mind, and heart in service of true awakening.
