ABSTRACT
Nowadays, Front-end development is often about choosing the coolest frameworks and libraries out there, then try to implement our business features within the boundaries of the chosen technologies.
But, is it always the best strategy? What if our application needs to survive for a long, long time?
What if, at some point, we want to get rid of our old Backbone code to embrace a new cool React life? Is complete rewriting the only solution?
During the talk, we will explore a slightly different approach and see how we could leverage some common design principles to keep the frameworks at the boundaries of our architecture.
