New Years Day hike! Let's start off the new years with an invigorating hike. We will be hiking 5-6kms at a moderate pace of 4.5-5km/hr for 1.5hrs. This is a difficult hike due to the number of hills including a ski hill so please only attend if you feel up to the challenge. Please bring 1L of water, proper hiking shoes/boots and icers for your feet. The Rouge Valley Mast Trail features excellent examples of rare Carolinian ecosystems while traversing a 200-year-old former logging route. Along both sides of the trail is the Rouge River and the little Rouge Creek.
