This picturesque gardens boasts enviable collection of rare and exotic plants and flowers\, set under the shelter of the massive Mountain Ash Trees\. **Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens** \- The gardens are known for their picturesque waterfalls\, water features and its iconic ornamental lake and boathouse\. **Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden** \- 36\-hectare garden with extensive paths past diverse plants\, trees & water features\, plus a cafe\. Welcome to our little badminton crew! 🏸 We’re a small non-profit community group who simply love playing badminton, staying active, and bringing people together. Everyone here volunteers their time, and any small fees just go towards court hire and shuttlecocks so we can keep the games going for everyone. All skill levels are welcome — whether you’re a beginner or have played for years. It’s all about good vibes, friendly rallies, and meeting new people who enjoy the sport. We’re bringing back Adult Field Day. Last year was a good mix of competition and just hanging out, so we’re doing it again with some new games mixed in. Think team-based challenges, simple races, and a few things inspired by game shows. You don’t need to be athletic. Most of the fun is just being part of a team and getting to know people you wouldn’t normally talk to. The goal isn’t really winning. It’s meeting people, laughing a bit, and leaving knowing a few more names than when you showed up. If you stick around after, we’ll have a potluck, a bonfire, and a couple comedians in the evening.
