About this event
In our collective fight against authoritarianism, exhaustion, burnout, and overwhelm are common experiences. And- we know achieving lasting change requires a lifelong commitment. This is a call for white people in particular to discuss the rhetoric of giving up, to talk about our particular responsibility to build strategies to sustain and stay in this work, and to connect with movement leaders of color who have been in this fight for decades.
Join SURJ in conversation with political strategist Scot Nakagawa and movement leader Ash-Lee Woodard-Henderson to get grounded and inspired for the necessary work white people must do to commit to fighting authoritarianism.
If you register, you'll receive a recording of the call via email.

When we fight racism, we all win.
SURJ mobilizes white people for justice across the country. Through campaigns, education, and action opportunities, we move our people to reject racism and complicity– and to join movements for change.
