JUNE Meetup - Finally a MUSIC songbook! COME OUT AND PLAY!!!

All the YouTube video tutorials / playalongs are up as well, so have at it. We'll either be on our beloved Green or back at A LEGNA, so check here at the last minute if you care.

After all these years it's about time we have a MUSIC songbook, right? This songbook will eventually be the first of a 3 part theme:
-- Part 1: Elements of Music
-- Part 2: Instruments of Music
-- Part 3: Styles of Music
So bring us a song. Possibly a ballad. Or perhaps a canticle or carol. Maybe a lullaby, a hymn, a chorus or an anthem? Perchance an etude, a shanty or an aria? Anyway, this month it's ELEMENTS of music (notes, rhythm, lyrics, verses, choruses, etc.), but any song that celebrates music will work.

We'll follow our usual agenda with a play-along to our new "MUSIC SONGBOOK Part 1: ELEMENTS of Music" (linked above) preceded and followed by a round-robin style jam. Bring a song to play for us or lead us in playing with you, your choice. We promise to be a generous and encouraging audience. (Bonus points for following the theme, but as always we'll enjoy your songs, whatever you bring.)
